Hauldex SMS Program

How Hauldex uses text messaging, who receives it, and how to opt out.

Hauldex operates this messaging program and is the sender of every text. Hauldex sends transactional load-status text messages only — pickup and delivery updates for freight managed in the Hauldex platform. Every message is generated by Hauldex from a fixed template; carriers using Hauldex choose which load contacts receive updates but cannot edit the message content. We never send marketing or promotional texts, and we do not share mobile information with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.

Who receives texts, and how often

How consent is obtained

Consent is recipient-initiated. When a carrier adds a broker or dispatcher number in Hauldex, Hauldex sends that number a one-time opt-in request that identifies Hauldex, states the purpose, and asks the recipient to reply YES to receive load-status texts or STOP to decline. Hauldex sends no load-status message to a number unless and until the recipient replies YES.

What the carrier sees when adding a number

The opt-in flow

The carrier adds a broker or dispatcher number in the Hauldex app; Hauldex then texts that number a one-time opt-in request, and the recipient replies YES to start receiving load updates. No load-status texts are sent before they reply YES, and a reply of STOP at any time opts them out.

Opting out & help

Reply STOP to any Hauldex text to stop all messages. Reply HELP for assistance. Reply START to opt back in. Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies by load activity.
