This page explains how to request deletion of your Hauldex account or driver record, what we are required to retain, and how long requests take to process. Hauldex LLC ("Hauldex," "we," "us," or "our") operates a fleet and load management platform for small trucking carriers and owner-operators.
A Hauldex account belongs to the carrier. Account deletion requests must come from the carrier owner and must be sent by email to admin@hauldex.com from the email address on file for the account. We require this so we can verify that the request is authorized before deactivating an account and the records it contains.
Once we have verified the request, we deactivate the account and begin deleting data that is not subject to a regulatory retention requirement (see Section 3).
Drivers do not own their Hauldex accounts. Driver records are owned and controlled by the carrier the driver works for, consistent with FMCSA recordkeeping requirements that place driver-qualification and employment records under the carrier's responsibility.
If you are a driver and want your driver record deleted, contact your dispatcher or carrier directly, or email admin@hauldex.com and we will coordinate the request with your carrier. Because the carrier is the record owner, deletion of a driver record may be subject to the carrier's own obligations and the retention rules in Section 3.
FMCSA and IRS regulations require certain records to be preserved for a defined period even after an account is deactivated. We comply with those retention requirements before permanently deleting data. Records that may be retained after deactivation include:
Once the applicable retention period for a given record has elapsed, that record is permanently deleted. Data that is not subject to a retention requirement is deleted when the request is processed. Our full retention schedule is described in our Privacy Policy.
We handle verified account and driver-record deletion requests within 7 business days. Where a record must be retained to meet an FMCSA or IRS requirement, it is deleted at the end of the applicable retention period rather than during the 7-day window.
